Dare to Appreciate.// When I was a teenager, we’d travel up and down the east coast almost every month. Those 11 hour drives used to feel so long and the view seemed so blah as we’d follow the green path between cities. But now, I roll the windows down to feel the wind between my toes. I peer out into the lush green trees while listening to India Arie, relaxed. Taking this #selfcareSunday to appreciate the trees I don’t get to see much of nowadays and other little things that other wise go unnoticed. #ihopeyoudare #talesfromtheroad

There are very few places that leave me feeling like I’m home and away all at once. London is one of them. I spent a 22hr layover exploring the boroughs that make London so beautiful. Though I was so ready to go home, I took advantage of wandering through its many green parks, peeping in and out of small-business shops, admiring historical architecture, indulging in food,music, and drinks at one of its night markets, and enjoying the fusion of so many people from different ethnicities and cultures who have made this city their home. This is my second time visiting and it won’t be my last. Until next time...London. . . Sharing a few bits in my instastories! . .
